laminate glue

1. Read all instructions for the glue package. They may contain some specific information for the current flooring glue.

2. Use the laminate flooring glue especially in high traffic areas of the floor. For example, it is high recommended to use it for the floor in the kitchen, near the plot and near the sink. In these places it's too possible to drop water or some other liquid laminate floor. If the flooring glue is added in these areas, you'll minimize the risk of absorbing liquids in the laminate boards.

3. Before installing your laminate, ensure that the laminate boards are not wet. If the boards are wet, the flooring glue won't stick up the boards properly.

4. Check the laminate boards for defects, before stick them with glue. The statistics shows that 5% of all laminate boards have some defect. If you don't see some board defect on time and you install it, your laminate floor may not look so good.

5. When you want to clear your laminate floor, you'd better do not add cleaners on the floor directly. It may destroy not only the floor, but could make chemical reaction with the laminate flooring glue and even to unstick the laminate boards. You can spray some clear on a mop and then clean your laminate floor. After cleaning, do not leave your floor wet, if it is wet, you'll need to wipe it.

6. Before installing and stick up the laminate boards, check to sub-floor if it is smooth enough - just fill the low spots and remove the high points.

7. Carefully choose cleaner for your laminate floor. For example, if you clean the laminate with a cleaner that contains ammonia, it will damage your laminate. So, before you buy some cleaner, carefully read the instructions, for example if it is suitable for laminate cleaning. Also, avoid cleaners that contain water.

8. You can remove abrasive grit from your laminate floor, just vacuum or sweep it regularly.
